We are based in Whitianga, one of the most popular holiday destination’s on the Coromandel Penninsula and one of New Zealand’s top fishing charter destinations. Approximately a 2.5 hr drive from Auckland or book a short 30 minute flight with Barrier Air, or a shuttle from Auckland Airport with Go-Kiwi shuttles.
COROMANDEL HOT SPOT
We are just a short 5 minute boat ride from the wharf to Cathedral Cove and Te-Whanganui-a-Hei Marine reserve. Our trips include visiting this iconic area free of charge and are a great end to a great day out fishing.
OUR VESSEL
We operate a custom built 6.9m (22.50ft), walkaround style vessel, powered by Yamaha outboards. When we are out on the water we have total confidence knowing we have the best engine in the industry for safety; with the power and reliability to get us from spot to spot all day. Our pontoon style hull provides us the ultimate platform – solid, safe and stable; with a full walkaround cab, you can fish from anywhere on the boat from bow to stern.
OUR FISHING GEAR
We use Shimano rods and reels for all our fishing – from livebaiting, jigging, softbaiting, stickbaiting, and lure fishing. Shimano New Zealand gear are responsible for countless amounts of successful angler’s achievements over the past decades and have a massive assortment of top quality rods, reel and terminal tackle. We trust and only use Shimano gear to get the job done.
KINGFISH TRIP
Chase big Coromandel Kingfish and snapper. Start your day catching livebait then venture out to target the bigger species, including the hard fighting Yellowtail Kingfish and snapper. We use livebaits, jigs, lures, poppers and stickbaits.
GAME & DEEP SEA TRIP
Get a group of mates together and try your luck at Marlin, Tuna, Mahimahi, Shortbill Spearfish, Hapuka, Bluenose and Bass. All gear supplied. We use livebaits, lures, and deadbaits.
CUSTOM TRIP

SCENIC TRIP
Jump on board for a half or full day tour, exploring stunning coastal features, including Cathedral cove, Te-Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve, Hahei, Cook’s Beach, and get lost in the stunning Orua Cave. Pack your togs and jump in for a swim and snorkel with snapper in the marine reserve.
