Gene was an absolute legend! Picked me up and set off out to catch my first Kingy. Was quite apparent that he knew what to do and where to go straight away! His Senator boat was well equipped and furnished for the best day fishing ive ever had. Landed my King fish and then added to the bag with a selection of tasty reef fish including snapper and pink mau mau. Relentlessly worked the spots to ensure best possible chance for a hook up. I’ve never caught a kingfish so as a novice, I found Gene , Our guide, very professional and friendly but also a fantastic coach when someone is doing something for the first time.
